Recreation Teams
Our Recreational Cheer Teams are designed for athletes who want to experience the excitement of cheerleading without the extensive time and financial commitment of competitive All Star cheer.
Just like our All Star teams, recreational teams focus on building teamwork, confidence, and athletic skills in a positive and supportive environment. Athletes will learn the fundamentals of tumbling, jumps, stunting, motions, and dance while working together to create a complete cheer routine.
Throughout the season, teams will showcase their routine at 2–3 local events, giving athletes the opportunity to perform in front of a crowd and celebrate their hard work. Unlike competitive cheer, recreational teams do not travel or compete against other programs.
Athletes practice once per week and are required to purchase cheer shoes and a team uniform. While the commitment level is lower than competitive cheer, attendance, teamwork, and dedication remain important to the success of the team.
Our Recreational Cheer Program is the perfect introduction to the sport for new athletes and families who want to explore cheerleading before making the commitment to a competitive All Star program
